“Victoria” is a tribute to the alma mater of our winery, Victoria Pariente. A recognition from her children for having transmitted to them the passion for the vineyard and wine. Made with grapes from three different varieties: Garnacha, Tempranillo and Viognier. It shows a great balance between complexity and subtlety.
To make Victoria Rosado we have used three varieties of grapes from
different vineyards:
– Garnacha: vineyard located in Pedrosa del Rey, an area of soils with sediments of
Pliocene sandstones, clays and limestone puddings, which on the surface give rise to brown soils
limestone on unconsolidated material. Vineyard planted in 1945 with a yield of
2800 Kg/ha.
– Tempranillo: vineyard located in the municipality of Mucientes, with sandy soils,
limestone and gypsum clays resting on clays and marls, planted in 1960 and with a
yield of 2200Kg/ha.
– Viognier: vineyard located in the municipality of La Seca. Brown soils, rich in calcium and
magnesium, easy to work and stony with good aeration and drainage and outcrops
limestones at the highest levels of the undulations. Permeable and healthy, their texture varies
from sandy to silty. Vineyard planted in 1999 and with a yield of 4400 kh/ha.
Elaboration
The varieties are blended (without maceration). Afterwards, the musts

Characteristics of the vintage
The 2022 vintage is marked by a summer in which the vineyard suffered the effects of a
severe drought. In addition, successive heat waves have caused temperatures to skyrocket. As
As a result, during the month of August the vine stopped ripening. Patience and waiting until
the month of September, when the rains appeared and the temperatures moderated,
allowed a slow phenolic maturation, with adequate acidity levels. The scarcity
of water during the summer season meant that the grapes arrived at the winery in perfect condition.

Tasting
Pale pink color. Elegant and intense aroma, very fruity with strawberry, raspberry, pomegranate and
blackberry with a finish of rose petals and jasmine. On the palate, a soft and pleasant attack. It is
balanced and unctuous. Persistent and fresh with notes of cherry in the aftertaste.
